COEIT Majors: Learn About Scholarship Opportunities!

You are invited to join staff from the Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) and fellow COEIT students at an information session about scholarships and other opportunities available through the Cyber and T-SITE Scholars Programs here at UMBC. These programs are open to students of all genders (to answer a question we frequently receive).
Applications for both programs are open in Scholarship Retriever (find at scholarships.umbc.edu) now and due March 1st, so come find out if one of these programs is right for you so you can start working on your application!
T-SITE Scholars & Cyber Scholars Info Session
Wednesday, February 9
12-12:50pm, ITE 456
Pizza will be provided to take as you leave the session.
Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Mechanical Engineering majors are invited to attend the session to learn about opportunities to apply to the T-SITE and Cyber Scholars Programs. Being a member of these Scholars Programs offers students a supportive community of peers, extra help with academic and other development from program staff, and scholarships to help cover educational costs.
General eligibility requirements (join us at the info session for more details):
- T-SITE Scholars -- Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Mechanical Engineering majors who just transferred to UMBC this semester (Spring 2022) or plan to transfer in Fall 2022 from a community college in Maryland and a 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA or higher.
- Cyber Scholars -- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems majors with an interest in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and/or data science and a 3.25 or higher cumulative GPA.
