The Cyber Scholars Program and the T-SITE (Transfer Scholars in IT & Engineering) Scholars Program, both part of the Center for Women in Technology, are currently accepting applications in Scholarship Retriever through March 1. These programs are open to students of all genders.

Cyber Scholars is open to undergraduate students with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher, majoring in Information Systems, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering who have an interest in cybersecurity, AI, and/or data science. Students can be at any point in their undergrad academic career, there is no specific citizenship requirement, and admittance is based on merit and alignment with mission (not need-based).
T-SITE Scholars is open to undergraduate students who just transferred to UMBC this semester (Spring 2025) from a Maryland community college, or those who plan to transfer in Fall 2025. Students can major in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mechanical Engineering. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Admittance is based on merit, alignment with mission, and financial need (as demonstrated through the FAFSA).
