Friday, October 18, 2019 · 12 - 12:50 PM
Git is a common technology used by industry professionals to keep track of changes, like bug fixes and addition of new features, to code and files in a software project. Although it does not sound very exciting, interviewers are always pleasantly surprised when students know how to use Git and it can often help you organize your own projects or even prepare you for programming courses that expect a basic understanding of Git.
Many desktop applications have their own graphical interfaces for Git, but it is first and foremost a command-line tool. This workshop will teach you some of the essential functions of Git through the command line.
