Full details are available at the link, but the nature of disability can often mean that the time, energy, motivation and creativity we have for this sort of community and work is variable. In proactive acknowledgement of that we seek to have a larger eboard than other clubs so that no one individual is singularly responsible for any project, and we all have the freedom to tap in and out as our lives permit. Our goal is to have an 11 member e-board so please nominate if you're interested!!
There are 3 specific roles that UMBC requires us to have in order to continue to be recognized, which are: President, Vice President, and Treasurer. (It's a common joke that no one wants to be treasurer, but it's by far the lowest commitment role so I'm hoping someone will consider it!)
We are using this same survey to form 3 low-commitment committees (activism, social, and creative) to further help spread the workload, and also to make it easier to be involved in the work our club wants to do. You can fill out the form just to sign up for a committee, you are not required to submit an officer nomination with it.
Nominations will be accepted: 4/25/22 through 5/1/22
Accepted nominees must submit their statement by: 5/5/22
Election will be held from: 5/6/22 through 5/12/22 (info is due to UMBC by 5/15!)
