We are thrilled to welcome Stacy Cahill as UMBC's new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)!
Stacy comes to us from the Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, where she has served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the last eleven years. Stacy brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership with a career that spans many technical areas, along with extensive work in cybersecurity, partnering across organizations to help secure and modernize critical services at a national level. Stacy is also a proud UMBC alum, having graduated with a degree in Information Systems and a minor in Computer Science in 2001.
Stacy says after just a few days on campus, “It has been amazing to see how much has changed, but also how much is still familiar from my undergraduate days.”
If you see Stacy around campus, please join us in welcoming her to UMBC!
