Jack Malone is retiring from DoIT AV Services. When he arrived on campus on September 10, 2001, this was going to be "just a job," but it turned out to be much more. Jack became an informal mentor to countless student employees, many becoming lifelong friends, visiting over a decade after graduation. He supported instructors, and installed AV systems and digital signage all over campus. It is virtually impossible to have not benefited from his handiwork, which also saved the campus tens of thousands of dollars. His proudest achievement was the work he performed with Student Disability Services, creating custom AV solutions to giveĀ challenged students the best in-classroom experience possible. He has made an important and lasting impression on his coworkers, clients, and the campus community, and will be missed greatly. We wish him the best!
