State of Humanities Research at UMBC Workshop

Join the Dresher Center for the Humanities, the Division of Research & Creative Achievement (ORCA), and the Creative Achievement and Research Administration Team (CARAT) for CAHSS, as we welcome Chris Thornton, Chief Programs Officer, American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) for a visit to UMBC on Wednesday, September 23.

Session 1: State of Humanities Research at UMBC 

In this session, Amy Froide, Christine Mallinson, and Marc Ruppel will discuss trends in research in the Humanities at UMBC and we will hear from faculty who have been funded by ACLS in the past or who are interested in ACLS funding for their current projects.
