Discover More with AM Explorer: Primary Sources for Research and Teaching
An event for faculty, staff, grad students- Lunch provided
UMBC has access to the Adam Matthew Explorer primary source database, and with more than 180 primary source collections available across the platform, there is always more to discover.
Join in person or online for a session designed to help faculty, graduate students, librarians, and researchers get more from UMBC’s existing access to AM Explorer.
We’ll explore ways to discover relevant primary sources across the platform, highlight materials spanning the arts, humanities, and social sciences, and look at how these collections can support both research and teaching. We’ll also discuss ways to incorporate primary sources into courses and student research and leave time for questions and conversation about research and teaching interests at UMBC.
Whether you already use AM Explorer or are curious about what UMBC has access to, this session is an opportunity to discover new content, make interdisciplinary connections, and learn more about the support available to you.
**Lunch will be provided to all in person registered participants- please click “Sign Up” above to reserve your seat for this session. Please email edurham@umbc.edu to note any dietary restrictions (gluten-free, food allergies, etc.) by Tuesday, October 13th.
