The Art of Storytelling Workshop with Vann Millhouse

Please join Baltimore-based storyteller, Vann Michael Millhouse, for a performance and workshop session where he will demonstrate the art of storytelling and discuss methods and approaches for participants interested in shaping and speaking their stories in public spaces.
The workshop will have two occurrences. You only need to attend one, however, registration is required as space is limited.
Session 1: 4:00pm - 5:15pm
Session 2: 5:30pm to 6:45pm
Bio: Vann Michael Millhouse is a Baltimore-based storyteller whose work with mental health and addiction recovery communities,
parents and children managing developmental delays, and sexual and gender
identity minorities (with a focus on young adults and elders) spans more than
twenty years. Millhouse's writing has appeared in Real Parenting and Real
TransTalk and Baltimore Outloud. He has developed and led seminars throughout Baltimore including Morgan State University, Community College of Baltimore County-Essex, B’more Summit, University of
Maryland School of Social Work, UMBC, Towson University, and Baltimore City
Community College. Most recently, Millhouse coached
storytellers for the Baltimore City Department of Health’s Baltimore in Conversation Series in
2017. He received his M.A. in Spiritual and Pastoral Care from Loyola University Maryland.
