Commons Third Floor Renovation
Learn about the renovation and its impact on events
The Commons’ third floor will undergo renovations beginning in late December 2026. The renovation will continue through the spring semester with the goal of being completed by July 2027.
The Event & Conference Services (ECS) team will connect with individual event planners to identify alternative spaces for previously scheduled events in impacted spaces. The renovation will impact the following departments and spaces:

Student Affairs’ administrative suites 335/336 will not be accessible beginning November 23, 2026.

The Fireside Lounge will be offline for the spring semester and will be used to temporarily relocate staff.

The Commons 332 will be discontinued as a reservable event space starting December 1, 2026.

The Commons 328 will temporarily house the Event & Conference Services Office .
