The
UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series continues with a presentation by Dr. Jules Buendgens-Kosten (Goethe University Frankfurt),
Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence in the department.
They will describe their ongoing work on neurodiversity and language
teaching and learning. After a general introduction to neurodiversity
(from a general perspective as well as a TESOL/TEFL perspective), they
will introduce the ELLeN project, which uses inquiry-based learning to
prepare future teachers for work in heterogeneous and neurodiverse
classrooms.
All members of the
department, partners/collaborators, and students/faculty from other departments and institutions are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by the department. Please RSVP by September 29th by completing this form:
