The
UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series continues with a talk by Dr. Kerri Evans of the UMBC School of Social Work. One
in four students in the US are part of an immigrant family. In this
presentation, Dr. Evans will discuss the need for specialized training
and the research process used to create a game-based training module for
college students, teachers, and professionals. She will share the goals
of the board game, preliminary data findings, and next steps.
All members of the
department, partners/collaborators, and students/faculty from other departments and institutions are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by the department. Please RSVP by completing this form by 4 March:
