The UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar continues in April with a presentation by Dr. Ashley Schmidt of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Education and Dr. Chris Rakes of the UMBC Department of Education. Professors Schmidt's and Rakes' talk reports on their research on
pedagogical decisions leading to more or less student discourse in the
secondary mathematics classroom.
All members of the
