Another exciting year is beginning at UMBC, and the Department of English would like to welcome our incoming students with a get-together on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This event will be located at the fourth floor department lounge in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building. This will be a great opportunity for our incoming English students to meet one another and the faculty--the beginning of what shall truly be a great time together. We look forward to seeing you there.
