Call for applications for MyRCA faculty research collaboratory program
Dear colleagues,
Applications are now open for "Make Your Research Come Alive" (MyRCA), a UMBC faculty research collaboratory program that was newly launched at UMBC last year. The program is designed for faculty who are committed to advancing and amplifying the visibility, reach, impact, and funding potential of their research, scholarship, and creative activity.
The program will bring together a cross-disciplinary cohort of about 12-15 faculty from across UMBC's RCA community. Interactive and hands-on monthly 2-hour sessions from December 2026 through May 2027 will help participants develop skills in research impact storytelling; create compelling pitches and broader impact narratives tailored to foundations, corporations, and donors; and learn from each other in a supportive, cross-disciplinary cohort model. Participants receive up to $500 in research funds upon completion of the program.
