Need help with time management, study skills and "how to succeed in college"?
EDUC 113 and 114 use coaching and reflection, interactive class discussions and metacognitive strategies to help you learn how to learn and to teach you skills to motivate yourself and reach success.
You'll build a time management plan, identify how to study effectively, and learn all the resources you need to reach your graduation goals!
So what's the difference? Both courses support student success but EDUC 113 is specially designed for students who might have had a difficult semester or two and have a GPA below 2.0. Students are welcome to enroll in either class, but choose the one that fits for you.
These courses are open now, so add them to your schedule for the spring semester.
If anyone has questions about the courses, please reach out to Delana Gregg (delana1@umbc.edu).
