Dear Member of the UMBC Community,

Just a reminder that FM is hosting a forum on Wednesday, May 2nd at noon in ITE 102 to present the 2018 Facilities Master Plan. The FMP is a vision for the next ten years and beyond, addressing our needs for academic and research space, recreation, student life facilities, parking, athletics and green space.

We will also be demonstrating a virtual reality model of the campus, developed by the Image Research Center. Put on the VR googles and check it out.

Over the past two years we have been meeting with stakeholders and shared governance groups, assessing space and facility needs, and testing development plans that align with UMBC’s strategic plan in an ecologically sustainable and fiscally responsible manner. The 2018 FMP is the culmination of this effort.
