The Center for Democracy and Civic Life is hosting a Connectionary Dialogue Series, "Fostering Professional Relationships." 

The series aims to cultivate meaningful connections among faculty, staff, and students through a structured set of three engaging sessions:

Session 1: What is Networking within UMBC?

Objective: Explore the importance of relationships in academic and professional success.

Session 2: Effective Communication Strategies
Date: November 13, 2023, 6:00 - 7:30 PM Location: Commons 329
Objective: Develop skills for initiating and maintaining conversations.

Session 3: Building and Sustaining Relationships
Date: November 18, 2023, 12:30 - 2:00 PM Location: Commons 318
Objective: Learn strategies for nurturing ongoing professional relationships.

The goal of this series is to create a supportive environment at UMBC that encourages faculty, staff, and students to build authentic relationships within our academic community, thereby enhancing their professional development.
