1. GES Majors listserv
If you are not already on this mailing list, sign up here. GES professors send out job, internship, graduate school, research, and more opportunities to this list.
2. Environmental Career Opportunities
The GES Department subscribes to this approx. biweekly newsletter. Follow these steps to access:
1. Go to the UMBC Library's homepage2. Click "A-to-Z Journal List" and type "environmental career opportunities"3. A new window opens, click "publisher website"4. Another window pops-up and asks for subscribers login info.

3. UMBC Career Services Center
Main website can be accessed here. The advisor for GES majors is Jeremiah Sawyer (jsawyer2@umbc.edu). Jobs and internships are posted via the searchable UMBC Works website.
4. UMBC Office of Undergraduate Research
Webpage specifically about research opportunities for GES majors can be found here.
5. The Student Conservation Association
The SCA offers over 2000 expense paid conservation internships each year. Internships last from 12 weeks to 12 months, start at all times throughout the year, and are found all across the country. Interns have the opportunity to work with agencies such as the National Park Service, National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Army Corps of Engineers, and other state and local agencies.

6. Urban Resources Initiative Internships
Internships in Baltimore in the fall, spring, and summer.
