Graduate Assistant Information Session
*Required for all graduate assistants
Location: Meyerhoff Chemistry Building, Room 030, Lecture Hall 2
Information regarding health insurance, UMBC community standards, and important procedures to receive tuition remission, direct deposit, and in-state status.

MyUMBC is your portal to class registration, Blackboard, billing services, campus events, internship/job postings, etc. This is an interactive session with current graduate students who will answer your questions.

Life at UMBC
offered at 3pm and 4pm
This session will provide you with “living as a grad student” facts, e.g., Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) housing and commuter support, PROMISE Success Seminars and Dissertation House events, and GSA governance and grant/social opportunities and events.

Evening Cookout/BBQ Dinner
Location: Commons Patio & Quad
