Join us for a one-hour session designed to equip teachers with essential guidelines and policies for working with minors. This session will cover best practices for maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment while ensuring compliance with institutional and legal requirements. We will also review the necessary steps for safeguarding student well-being, and understanding mandated reporting obligations.

As part of the onboarding process, all teachers working with minors are required to undergo a background check, including fingerprinting. To facilitate this, we will coordinate transportation to the fingerprinting location after the session. Attendance is mandatory to ensure that all instructors are well-prepared and meet the necessary requirements before beginning their SEA CIRTL classes.
