Be an advisor during the Winter session (January 2011)
PROMISE has partnered with UMBC's Office for Academic and Pre-Professional Advising to provide
our graduate students with opportunities to mentor and advise undergraduates. These are paid positions.
DESCRIPTION:
Graduate students are needed to work as New Student Orientation Advisors during Winter 2011 with the Office for Academic and Pre-Professional Advising (OAPA). Advisors will be compensated $100.00 per session for up to 4 sessions. The deadline to apply
to become an Advisor has been extended until Friday, December 10, 2010.
You must be available to attend the New
Advisor Training Session on January 4, 2011, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (The
UMBC Winter Session extends from January 3 – January 25, 2011.)
