New format! This year's Career Paths for Graduate Students event is expanding beyond traditional networking to include mock interviews, resume reviews, and meaningful connections with alumni and employers who are actively seeking master's and Ph.D.-level talent.

To guarantee your seat, you must RSVP in Handshake. This event is part of UMBC's Career Month, an opportunity for students to explore their professional options through workshops, alumni chats, industry fairs, employer site visits, and more.
*You do not need to stay for the entire time. We are allotting this time to accommodate graduate students' busy schedules.*

IMPORTANT NO SHOW TERMS: By registering for this event, you are confirming that you will be attending Career Paths for Graduate Students on Thursday, April 9, 2026. There will be no charge to UMBC students, on a first-come first-serve basis. You understand that by registering and not attending, you are preventing another UMBC student from participating and causing the Career Center and the PROMISE Program to incur monetary expenses as the sponsors of this event. Low student attendance also reflects negatively on the University and could damage our relationship with employers.
In addition, you are acknowledging that should you fail to attend this event without notifying Dr. Rowena Winkler (rbwinkler@umbc.edu) of your cancellation by 12:00 PM. EDT on Monday, April 6, 2026, your UMBC student account will be charged a fee of $25 to cover the financial costs incurred.
