The UMBC History department is hosting an informational meeting about Phi Alpha Theta, the national History Honors Society.
To join the UMBC chapter, you must have taken at least 12 credits in history, have a 3.0 overall GPA
and a 3.1 GPA in your history classes.
Phi Alpha Theta is a great opportunity to connect with fellow history students, boost your resume, and get a cord to wear at graduation.
You do not need to be a history major or minor to join, just meet the above requirement. Phi Alpha Theta is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
