The Department of Human Resources is experiencing several key staff changes. Staff who have left or are leaving have made significant contributions to our initiatives and have been wonderful collaborators, partners and friends. I know many of you will echo our well wishes as they transition to their higher-level positions at various agencies and sister institutions. They will be missed!

We are excited to share that two of our key leaders who retired in 2020, Rochelle Sanders and Elmer Falconer, are rejoining our team as part-time staff to help bridge the gap until we are able to complete the recruitment and training of new staff. Both have extensive knowledge of UMBC policies and procedures, culture and values. We are fortunate that Elmer and Rochelle responded favorably to our call.
