It is with mixed emotions that I share that Sandy Vance will be leaving UMBC to take a position with EA Engineering Science and Technology as a Human Resources Recruiter. Sandy started at UMBC in June 2012 as a Payroll Processing Associate. She moved to her current role as Employment Specialist in March 2013.
Sandy has been an important part of the HR Employment team over the past eight years. She has been involved with many new initiatives including coordinating the Veteran’s Day Celebration and the implementation of the PageUp system. Her knowledge and expertise in recruitment and hiring has been a great resource to both hiring managers and applicants.
Sandy’s last day of work will be March 23, 2021. Please join me in wishing her the best as she starts this new phase in her career.
