Are you pursuing a degree in the Natural or Mathematical Sciences but are unsure about your career path? Connect with alumni and employers to learn how to use your degree, explore industries hiring for your major and discover which skills & experiences employers value most!
Reserve your seat at The Career Center's annual College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS) Career Connection Social on Thursday March 13th in the UC Ballroom, 3rd floor from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Free food & refreshments will be served.
RSVP will be required in Handshake (link to be provided in the near future)
Who should attend: All undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Natural & Mathematical Sciences are encouraged to attend. The event is open to all science-related majors across campus!
Here's what you need to know:
- You will have the opportunity to connect and practice your networking skills with amazing UMBC alumni and employer recruiters in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.
- The format will be structured for "speed networking," so you'll know exactly when and who to approach. You will move around the room with a small group of your peers.
- The alumni and employers will represent various science-related industries. They are eager to get to know you!
- Food will be provided.
- Through this, you will have a chance to ask questions to all alumni and employers in attendance and share your interests and ideas with them as well.
