UMBC would like to officially welcome you to our university with an informative orientation geared to help you study abroad smoothly.
This orientation will be covering:
F-1 student Immigration Regulations
F-1 status Employment Opportunities
Health care and Health Insurance Requirements
Academic Requirements for F-1 students
Travel Requirements
Intercultural Adjustment
Student Life and Campus Opportunities
Campus Safety and Security
as well as some other important topics, so please be sure to attend!
Also remember ALL F-1 students in their first semester at UMBC (including students from UMBC's ELI and transfers) are REQUIRED to attend. If you cannot attend, contact IES Office to make other arrangements.
