We wish to inform you of recent staffing changes within the Center for Global Engagement’s Office of International Students and Scholars.
Staff Departures
Dave Anguish, Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars, has accepted an attorney role in the Chacón Center for Immigrant Justice at Maryland Carey Law. He is taking intermittent leave until his last day at UMBC on August 01. A search for the next permanent Director is underway and anticipated to conclude before the end of August.
Additionally, Victoria Sung, International Student & Scholar Advisor, will be leaving to pursue graduate studies at the University of Michigan this fall. Her last day at UMBC will be June 30th.

New Appointments
Sarah Cockcroft, Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services, was recently appointed Acting Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars.
We are also welcoming two temporary International Student & Scholar Advisors, Mariia Usova and Lauren Mister, to assist during this time of transition. Mariia and Lauren are both graduates of UMBC and previously worked within the Center for Global Engagement. We are excited to welcome them back to UMBC!
