All,
Beginning next Monday evening, Whiting Turner will be applying additional urethane to the wooden doors in the ILSB building. This includes all offices, classroom doors, and both teaching and research lab doors.
Not as invasive as first described, the doors will remain on their hinges and will have urethane applied in place. The work will be done starting around 5 in the evening until midnight or later. This project will begin in the basement and work it's way up through the building. The contractors have a current schedule of courses and will try to take advantage of openings on Friday afternoons as best as possible for the classrooms throughout the building. .
I'm hoping to get a better schedule of events, but that will only happen once we get the first 9 doors finished in the basement.
I'll keep you all posted as I hear anything new.
