The EDUCAUSE AI Webinar Series is a five part series. Each webinar dives deep into the latest innovations, practical applications, and future trends of AI, providing you with the knowledge and tools to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Part 2 of this series features two insightful sessions focused on strategies to explore AI:
Session 1: Demystifying AI: Digital Detox 2024
Demystifying AI was a series of six interactive modules developed by Middlebury College's Office of Digital Learning and Inquiry (DLINQ). The series focused on engaging a diverse audience around the fundamentals of AI through exploration and play, with a focus on moral and ethical use. In this webinar, learn about how Middlebury's DLINQ team created the modules and what they learned as participants explored generative AI and gained skills needed to navigate this nascent environment as critical users—protecting themselves, behaving ethically, and taking advantage of the affordances of an increasingly AI-entwined future.
Session 2: MIT Sloan’s AI in Education Playbook
Join this session to learn about MIT Sloan’s journey of bringing AI into the classroom. We’ll discuss the challenges we faced and the flexible strategies we developed to support our community and create space for meaningful AI experimentation. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your AI approach, our goal is that you’ll walk away with practical insights for supporting teaching and learning in the era of AI.
