Welcome to the Iranian Graduate Student Association (IGSA) group at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. At IGSA, we are dedicated to nurturing a supportive and vibrant community for both current and prospective Iranian graduate students. Our mission is to ease the transition into academic life and foster a strong sense of belonging.

We celebrate the rich heritage of Iran with cultural events and social gatherings that not only honor our traditions but also promote networking and friendships among our members. From the vibrant celebrations of Nowruz to the poetic enchantments of Yalda Night, our events aim to bring a slice of Iran to UMBC.
