Basys Chief Technology Officer and UMBC alum, Ron Rock, will be speaking to ISCOM about his experience in the Health IT field and help us to identify some of the skill sets that we should focus on developing to be successful in the field.
Ron holds a Master of Engineering Sciences in Computer Science from Loyola College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

In a short period of time, he has implemented processes and metrics to ensure that the engineering organization is extremely efficient and focused and that our products are market ready.Prior to joining basys, Ron was the Vice President of Software Development at Educate Online and Sylvan Learning, where he optimized their tutoring delivery platform to meet service delivery levels and produced a cost savings of over $1M through the reduction of servers, licensing, and external
consulting. Ron also held leadership positions at SAIC, SM Consulting and RDA Corporation.
