Resume and CV Enhancement Workshop
The University System of Maryland’s Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (USM LSAMP), sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) provides select undergraduate scholars currently enrolled at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Frostburg State University, or Towson University for research.
Student scholars conduct research over a minimum of an eight-weeks per semester (fall and spring) or six-week period (summer) under the direction of a faculty research mentor. Selected participants will be expected to attend programming on Mondays from 12-1pm to develop their skills as a researcher.
In this workshop, we will be joined by Susan Hindle, Assistant Director of Internships and Employment from the Career Center to review the best practices of writing a strong resume and CV. Student researchers will have time allocated to work individually and collaboratively to enhance their documents during this session.
Remember to bring your resume and/or CV as well as a pen or pencil. There will be time reserved to enhance our documents during the session. A small snack and beverage will be provided. You may bring your own lunch.
