MARC U*STAR Interest Meeting

The MARC U*STAR Program is having an Interest Meeting this Friday, December 6th at 12:00 p.m. in Sherman Hall, Room 003. The Maximizing Access to Research Careers, Undergraduate Student Training in Academic Research Program at UMBC provides resources and financial support for science, technology, engineering and math students who are interested in conducting undergraduate research at UMBC and want to pursue a graduate degree (Phd, MD/PhD) in the STEM field and a career in research.

MARC U*STAR Scholars receive:
- A partial stipend for tuition, fees, and housing costs
- Year-round participation in research with financial support for research materials
- Special advising, seminars & workshops
- Travel & conference funds
- Help with graduate school applications
- Present at URCAD & other national meetings
