Submitting a Strong REU Application: RSVP Required
Interested in participating in paid research this summer?
Would you like someone to read over a draft of your Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) application?
Are you interested in learning more about the REU application process?
Join us for a discussion with Dr. Justine Johnson, Associate Director of the IMSD Meyerhoff Graduate Program and Program Coordinator of the UMBC Summer Biomedical Training Program. She will offer her perspective on what stands out most to application reviewers and be available to answer your questions. We will then break into small groups in which LSAMP students who have previously participated in nationwide REU programs will be available to offer more individualized support based on their own experience.
Please note, if you have not yet begun your REU application process, we will have resources available to research programs that align with your academic interests.
We are limiting this event to the first 35 RSVPs. Please make sure that you can attend the entire workshop.
If you are interested in attending and do not have access to an iPad or laptop device to use during the session, please e-mail us at: lsamp@umbc.edu. We look forward to seeing you there!
