Joseph McCloskey, M.S. ’81, Ph.D. ’83, Applied Mathematics, has received a 2007 Outstanding Alumni Award.
Each year the UMBC Alumni Association presents annual awards to honor alumni for their professional and personal achievements and service to the University. Dr. McCloskey is a senior cryptologic mathematician for the National Security Agency, where he has worked since 1968.
