Announcement from Johns Hopkins University Department of Materials Science and Engineering:
We are hosting AI-Enabled Energy Systems: Technologies, Intelligence, and Security at Johns Hopkins University on October 28.
The conference covers AI in energy research and technology, from materials discovery to system operation, security, and resilience.
The morning will feature Jessica Granderson of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on AI research and applications in buildings, Stefano Sanvito of Trinity College Dublin on machine learning and AI for materials discovery, and Jasmine Brewer of Quantinuum on generative quantum AI for scientific discovery.
In the afternoon, we will work together on a roadmap for AI and energy, identifying the major challenges and the research and technology needed to address them.
Registration is free and open to students, postdocs, and faculty.
