Teaching Undergraduate STEM
PROMISE CIRTL Future Faculty Series
This session will briefly introduce what is known about how people learn and how that should translate into your teaching practices. This one hour session will begin the discussion on active teaching and learning for future faculty. Specific topics covered will include the how people learn framework, backward mapping and cooperative and problem/project based learning. The discussion will center on STEM education but will apply to all disciplines. Counts toward CIRTL certifications.
