After much deliberation, the board has decided that instead of having one HR member on our board we will all share the responsibility of HR. We have created a form very similar to the old one, however, now all board members will have access to this form. Keep in mind that if you have conflicts with one of the board members or you do not want the whole board to know about conflicts then you can explicitly state that you do not want certain board members to see your report.
This will help us to resolve conflicts and issues as a team and it will alleviate having all of that pressure and responsibility on one person. The ability to report anonymously will remain a part of the form, just be aware that if you do choose to report anonymously then that will restrict what the board can do in terms of helping you to find solutions.
Also please be aware that some members of our board are mandatory reporters. So if it involves title IX in any capacity we are obligated to report that information.
