Over the course of the term we will be publishing blog posts our students created for Dr. Lindsay Johnson's course MUSC 322 Music History II (1700-1915). For the assignment, first the students read pre-existing musicology blog posts to internalize the range of styles and topics available to them. Then they picked a topic they were interested in that was within the scope of the course and completed components of the research and writing, such as the bibliography, thesis, outline, and a draft before creating a Google Site with the material. Many of the featured students opted to complete an additional round of edits after the semester ended to get their posts ready for publication.
