Embodied learning can help neurodivergent students by enhancing memory, emotional regulation, and engagement.

Participants will explore how the body shapes attention, memory, and engagement, then take part in an accessible movement activity designed to model embodied strategies that can be enacted in multiple contexts.

The session will also invite participants to consider how similar practices might enrich learning in their own teaching practices.
Please note that registration is required and this session is in person only. This session is open to faculty and staff only.
Lunch will be provided to everyone who registers and also confirms their attendance prior to spring break. Please email fdc@umbc.edu to note any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergies, etc.) by March 11.
