How It Works & What to Expect

Drop In Anytime: Arrive at 2:00 PM or pop in whenever your schedule allows during the hour.

Set Your Intentions: Sign in by typing your session goal in the chat box.

Your Comfort Matters: Cameras can remain ON or OFF—do whatever keeps you comfortable and focused.

Quiet Productivity: Work on your independent task in the quiet company of peers, with a brief wrap-up at the end to celebrate progress.
What Is Body Doubling? Body doubling is a productivity strategy where an individual completes tasks alongside another person who is also quietly working. The partner doesn't assist or instruct; their presence alone acts as a social anchor that promotes focus and accountability.
Who Does It Benefit?

Neurodivergent Individuals (ADHD, Autism, Executive Dysfunction): Helps regulate attention, lowers task initiation barriers, and bridges dopamine deficits associated with low-stimulation or monotonous work.

Remote & Hybrid Staff/Faculty: Reduces feelings of isolation and provides a gentle, structured context for deep work.

Anyone Facing Task Paralysis or Burnout: Helps break down overwhelm on administrative duties, long-form writing, or grading.
