Thank You for your decision to become members of this association. The goal is to provide a body with a strong support for its members and a space to enhance our academic, professional and social skills as well as seek for representation at the Graduate Senate.
The next step is to schedule a meeting to get to know ourselves and ensure that we get recognized by the Graduate Student Association and other important bodies and
We would all work hand in hand to ensure the organization strives to accomplish its mission and is beneficial to its members.
Kindly watch out for subsequent emails/posts on the progress of establishing this association and ensuring its recognition as well as a scheduled meeting for us to select principal officials for this body and discuss other important information such as group's logos, meeting dates et al.
Also endeavor to inform other Nigerian graduate students at UMBC about the association and how they can sign up to become members.
