Ever Hanna joined us to talk about Pronoun training and best practices. The senate found it fascinating, and Ever will share their slides with the group if we wanted to dig deeper.
Special interest groups related to hobbies-responses to form.
We discussed the Special Interest groups that Orianne has been coordinating. It seems like the interest from the group is lukewarm due to lack of time.
Faculty/Staff Emergency Fund Campaign
Melody updated the group on the Faculty/Staff Emergency Fund campaign that is starting to form. She is on the launching committee and will keep us updated.
Retreat debrief
A short Retreat debriefs from Melody, Helena, Anne, and Desiree. Everyone was impressed with the agenda and the key speaker. The highlights seemed to be the breakout discussion groups.
HR Remote Work Guidance
Melody mentioned the Staff recommendations for remote work brought up at the latest VP and Dean's meeting by Valerie. Melody will assemble the highlights in a document for the senate, and we will discuss them at our next meeting.
BAM Meeting
The Business Administration Meeting (BAM). It seems like not everyone is getting an invite to these meetings who used to attend in person. Desiree is working on updating the list server.
