STEM and Black Excellence: A Talk with Dr. Freeman Hrabowski

Dr. Freeman Hrabowski is currently the President of UMBC and the co-Founder of the esteemed Meyerhoff Scholars Program. His dedication to STEM is evident in his involvement with educational initiatives across the nations. Most notably, his TED Talk, which has been viewed almost 1 million times, captures his desire to see students of all backgrounds succeed in the sciences. He has also worked closely with President Obama on a variety of different educational issues.
On October 8, Dr. Hrabowski will be visiting the National Society of Black Engineers Chapter's General Body Meeting for the first time. Seating is limited, but we encourage everyone to attend. Please be punctual and bring questions!
