The Transfer Engagement and Achievement Mentoring (T.E.A.M.) program is dedicated to increasing the persistence and retention of underrepresented male transfer students at UMBC. This program is supported by Off-Campus Student Services alongside faculty and staff from different departments on campus. T.E.A.M. emphasizes mentorship, increasing the awareness of transfer-specific resources, and creating a comfortable environment in which students of color can have fun, discuss important issues, motivate each other, and find academic and social success.
