UPDATES!!
Hello everyone! Hope you guys are doing well!
We have some important updates regarding our events of the year.
Our main leadership event has officially been postponed to the Spring. For now, please disregard any information that given before. There is no Ethics in Action event taking place on Oct 4th, as announced before.
For our main service event, the theme is food insecurity in our local areas. We have a few options as to how we want to plan this, and we would love your feedback. These are the options:
1. Trunk or treat: would run around Halloween, where we collect canned goods and give out candy in exchange. (We might be able to collaborate with SEB if we have enough interest).
2. Traditional food drive: partner with retriever essentials or a local food pantry as we collect canned food items as a traditional food drive around campus. We could also run this as part of November’s Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week because it ties in nicely with our service theme.
3. Other suggestions or ideas.
