The term "Open Educational Resources (OER)" refers to not only high-quality textbooks, but also a number of additional teaching and learning aids called ancillary materials. Ancillary materials include presentations, quizzes, multimedia, interactive simulations, writing prompts, and more.
In this session, we'll conduct an overview of different types of ancillary materials, where you can find them, and survey different platforms for delivery. We'll also cover how ancillary materials can be integrated with your textbook or used to align your content to course outcomes.
This workshop is hosted by the Maryland Open Source Textbook (M.O.S.T.) initiative in partnership with the Rebus Community and facilitated by Apurva Ashok, Project Lead for the Rebus Community and facilitator of the Textbook Success Program. This webinar will not be recorded.
