Katie Rouse (She/Her) is Executive Director of On Our Own of Maryland, Inc., a statewide peer-run behavioral health education and advocacy nonprofit which promotes equality, justice, autonomy, and choice about life decisions for individuals with mental health and substance use needs.
Katie is a proud alumna of UMBC, where she was a Humanities Scholar, and earned a B.A. in Philosophy and certificates in Women's Studies and The Honors College.
Her career has spanned roles in affordable housing, sports-based youth programming, quality assurance in public mental health service systems, outcome measurement software implementation, project management, and training. She has also worked with a broad array of volunteer, nonprofit, private, and governmental organizations in Maryland as a volunteer, committee, participant, or advisory board member.
Lunch will be provided.
